Developer EA Tiburon’s own version of NFL free agency continues, as 14-year Madden veteran and executive producer Phil Frazier has left the studio.
“We appreciate Phil’s 14 years of work on the Madden franchise and recognize he was looking for a new opportunity,” EA Sports said in a statement posted on Kotaku. “Our team is changing to tackle new opportunities and we’re confident in the new organizational structure and leadership we have in place.”
Frazier is just the latest developer to leave the studio. Back in April, creative director Ian Cummings was among a group who left EA Tiburon.
EA Sports has confirmed that NCAA executive producer Roy Harvey will take over Frazier’s role and act as dual EPs for both franchises until the company names a successor for the NCAA series.
